Core Competency Prerequisites for Admissions
To ensure students are prepared for the academic rigor of the program, applicants should have prior demonstrated academic and/or work experience in areas such as programming, discrete math and data structures, operating systems, or computer architecture and organization.
- Additional preparatory courses may be required for students admitted into the program who do not have prior experience in the core competencies outlined above.
- GRE waivers are available to applicants who meet at least one of the academic or previous work experience prerequisite requirements, such as:
4+ years of work experience in a technical or related field
An undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or greater, with a quantitative or technical relevant degree
